Middle School General Music I couldn’t be more excited to begin this next chapter of my career as a new member of the PS/ MS 20 community! With over twenty years experience working as a professional musician, bandleader, composer and arranger, I bring all of this knowledge to my students with the hopes of instilling in them the same love that I have for music. In my classes, we focus on all aspects of the music-making process: reading, writing, listening to, analyzing, creating and performing music. By studying music through both a historical and contemporary cultural lens, we can all be enriched by the multifaceted beauty that a lifelong engagement with the performing arts provides. When I’m not in the classroom, you will find me improvising at the piano, immersed in an epic symphony, or hanging out with my beautiful wife and kids.
